Dear Reader, The Watchmen of the Night Ministries is, on the whole, a ministry to the entire Body of Christ, to whomsoever claims to be a "twice born" believer in Jesus Christ, to whomsoever has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. It is nevertheless specifically addressed to those Christians who love the risen Lord with all of their heart, mind and soul and who desire above all else to be conformed to His image and at any cost will follow Him, forsaking all things and thereupon will seek to know His will and then without hesitation proceed to perform His will. The general overall messages contained within these books, we trust, have been written with great sincerity and we hope it will be accepted with great sincerity. The majority are fundamentally prophetic messages, for this is a prophetic Ministry. It is a Warning Ministry to attempt to bring back a wayward Church into the loving arms of the Lord Jesus Christ. The term "Watchmen of the Night Ministries" was chosen first because it's a Scriptural term. A Watchman is a man that stands upon the High Tower. He has seen the enemy approaching and entering the city, which is the Church and has observed the attempt of the enemy to overcome, overwhelm and engulf the entire worldwide visible Church structure. The Watchman's Ministry is to shout aloud from the High Tower to warn and help the Church overcome, overpower and cast out the enemy. If the Watchman does not warn God's people and the enemy comes and overtakes the Church, the Watchman will have to give account of why he did not speak when he should have spoken. If, on the other hand, the Watchman does warn and cries aloud that the enemy has come and the message is received, then the people are saved and the enemy defeated (see Ezekiel 33:1-9). |
